Standard certificates and declarations

This section contains general statements on standard fasteners. This is mainly a declaration of conformity and the declaration of performance. They are generally valid statement on standardized material. They are therefore free to download and can be used retroactively to already purchased goods provided that they are indeed goods supplied by Valenta ZT.

  • Inspection certificate "3.1"
  • Inspection certificate "3.2"

Description of individual documents:

Declaration of compliance with the order "2.1"

A document in which the manufacturer confirms that the products supplied comply with the requirements of the order without giving any test results.

Certificate "2.2"

A document in which the manufacturer certifies that the products supplied conform to the requirements of the order and in which he states the results of tests based on unspecified inspection.

Inspection certificate "3.1"

A document issued by the manufacturer in which the manufacturer confirms that the products supplied comply with the requirements of the order and in which the results of the tests are stated. The test unit and the tests to be carried out are specified in the product code, official regulations, relevant technical regulations and/or the order. The document shall be certified by an authorised representative of the manufacturer independent of the production departments. The manufacturer may transfer to the inspection certificate 3.1 the test results obtained by specified inspection of the primary or input products used, provided that the manufacturer uses traceability procedures and can provide the necessary corresponding inspection documents.

Inspection certificate "3.2"

A document prepared by an authorised representative of the manufacturer, independent of the manufacturing departments, or by an authorised representative of the purchaser, or by an inspector specified in the official regulations, in which the said persons declare that the products delivered comply with the requirements of the order and state the results of the tests. The manufacturer may transfer to the inspection certificate 3.2 the test results obtained by specified inspection of the primary or input products used, provided that the manufacturer applies traceability procedures and can provide the necessary corresponding inspection documents.

Sample document not available

Note: The test content and scope of testing for unspecified and specified inspection is specified in standards, technical delivery regulations or other technical documents or regulations specified in the order by agreement in the ordering process. The standards of the technical delivery regulations shall specify the tests to be carried out and the optional tests.

Dimensional checklist

A document issued by the manufacturer, intermediary or importer. It is a dimensional or other inspection of products. The content of the document depends on the mutual agreement of both parties, usually between the supplier and the customer.

„Test report“

A document issued by the manufacturer, intermediary or importer. It is a verification of certain product characteristics. The content of the document depends on the mutual agreement of both parties, usually between the supplier and the customer. We often issue this report so that the document contains the same information as the inspection certificate 3.1.

For enquiries and technical questions please contact us in the REQUEST section, by e-mail or by phone, we will be happy to advise you.

Colour code of rods according to strength class:

Colour code is used to differ rods depending on the strength class easily. Colours are described in these documents.

Weldability of steels:

For easier orientation in the problems of our welding rods, we have created an informative document on this issue.

Chamfering of rods:

For our manufactured threaded rods, there are multiple ways of chamfering for easier nut deployment. More information about the possibilities and ways of ordering can be found in the following document:

Changing DIN 975 to new DIN 976:

We changed our marking of rods from old norm DIN 975 to the new one. Our information leaflet about changing to norm DIN 976 can be found here.

Quality of threaded rods:

There are cheap threaded rods on the market that do not have the appropriate thread profile. This saves manufacturers the cost of input material, but the thread of these rods does not meet the applicable standards. These rods are therefore non-compliant to the point of being unsafe.

You can find more information on the Threaded rod quality page, which deals with this issue, or in the leaflet we have produced for you.

Properties of the trapezoidal thread:

Our products also include rods and nuts with trapezoidal thread. Sometimes we are being asked about the groove which is created by thread rolling on top of the thread. This phenomenon is often wrongly interpreted as a flaw or error. More information can be found in our document.
