Dimensional checklist
Dimensional checklist
A document issued by the manufacturer, intermediary or importer. It is a dimensional or other inspection of products. The content of the document depends on the mutual agreement of both parties, usually between the supplier and the customer.
„Test report“
A document issued by the manufacturer, intermediary or importer. It is a verification of certain product characteristics. The content of the document depends on the mutual agreement of both parties, usually between the supplier and the customer. Colour code of rods according to strength class:
Colour code is used to differ rods depending on the strength class easily. Colours are described in these documents.
Weldability of steels:
For easier orientation in the problems of our welding rods, we have created an informative document on this issue.
Chamfering of rods:
For our manufactured threaded rods, there are multiple ways of chamfering for easier nut deployment. More information about the possibilities and ways of ordering can be found in the following document:
Changing DIN 975 to new DIN 976:
We changed our marking of rods from old norm DIN 975 to the new one. Our information leaflet about changing to norm DIN 976 can be found here.
Quality of threaded rods:
There are cheap threaded rods on the market that do not have the appropriate thread profile. This saves manufacturers the cost of input material, but the thread of these rods does not meet the applicable standards. These rods are therefore non-compliant to the point of being unsafe.
You can find more information on the Threaded rod quality page, which deals with this issue, or in the leaflet we have produced for you.
Properties of the trapezoidal thread:
Our products also include rods and nuts with trapezoidal thread. Sometimes we are being asked about the groove which is created by thread rolling on top of the thread. This phenomenon is often wrongly interpreted as a flaw or error. More information can be found in our document.
